Dr. Jeffrey M. Johnsrud decided to pursue a career in medicine because he enjoys helping people maintain good health. He strives to always provide the highest quality medical care possible, and always has his patients' best interests at heart.

Dr. Johnsrud received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He then completed his surgical internship and subsequent residency at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Johnsrud is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a “Bariatric Surgeon Center of Excellence” known as BSCOE, as designated by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).

Today, Dr. Johnsrud maintains interest and expertise in a wide range of surgical fields, including laparoscopic bariatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hernia repair and gall bladder surgery. He also has an interest in utilizing robotics in the advancing field of minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Johnsrud is an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

When he is not working, Dr. Johnsrud enjoys swimming, surfing and reading.
